Ameren Illinois rebates

Ameren Illinois offers multiple rebates for homeowners that purchase and install energy efficient home improvements and appliances. 

The utility also offers home energy audits and options for low-income homeowners, allowing everyone a chance to reduce their energy consumption.

Ameren Illinois heat pump rebates

Heat pump rebates are available to current Ameren Illinois customers for air-source heat pumps, ductless mini-split heat pumps, and heat pump water heaters

(If you’re a current Ameren customer, lucky you! Heat pumps are a life upgrade.)

The rebates are offered as instant discounts from participating distributors, so make sure your contractor is purchasing from an approved supplier to receive rebates.

Ameren Illinois HVAC rebates

Ameren customers can also receive rebates in the form of an instant discount for central air conditioners. Rebates are based on the efficiency of the unit and must be purchased by your contractor through an approved distributor.

Ameren Illinois refrigerator and freezer rebate

As a Ameren Energy customer, you have access to a $50 refrigerator and freezer rebate for an ENERGY STAR certified appliance upgrade. Rebate applications must be submitted within 60 days of purchase. 

Ameren Illinois thermostat rebates

Ameren Illinois customers have access to an ENERGY STAR certified smart thermostat rebate—allowing homeowners to reduce energy consumption while managing the comfortability of their home from a convenient app.

MidAmerican Energy Illinois rebates

MidAmerican Energy has multiple residential rebates for HVAC upgrades. They also offer virtual home audit programs to help homeowners understand their energy consumption and how they can reduce it. 

MidAmerican Energy rebates include:

  • Ductless mini splits
  • Smart thermostats
  • Central air conditioners

MidAmerican Illinois heat pump rebates

MidAmerican electric and gas customers can receive rebates for installing an air-source heat pump or ductless mini split.

MidAmerican HVAC rebates

MidAmerican customers can also receive rebates in the form of an instant discount for central air conditioners and smart thermostats. Rebates are based on the efficiency of the unit and cannot be combined with other rebates. 

MidAmerican Appliance recycling rebates

You can receive a rebate for properly recycling old appliances as a MidAmerican customer. The utility pays $50 for recycling an old freezer or refrigerator, and pickup and disposal is offered at no additional cost! 

ComEd rebates

ComEd offers residential rebates for upgrading to energy-efficient HVAC systems and purchasing ENERGY STAR certified appliances. 

Here’s an overview of the Com Ed rebates available on ENERGY STAR certified upgrades, and we’ll cover a few more in depth below.

Rebates are applied at point of purchase, so make sure your contractor is purchasing the system from an approved distributor. (But if you get your home upgrades through Sealed, we’ll make sure you get all rebates that your upgrades qualify for.)

Rebate amounts range depending on the efficiency of the system.

Peoples Gas and North Shore Gas offer financial incentives to bring down the cost of home weatherization, including insulation and air sealing, and all projects must be installed by an approved weatherization contractor.

Low to moderate income eligible customers can get some of these services covered at no cost.
