Energy utilities, state government programs, and private companies like Sealed offer a variety of discounts and payment programs for home efficiency upgrades.

Energy utilities, state government programs, and private companies like Sealed offer a variety of discounts and payment programs for home efficiency upgrades.

There are plenty of easy ways to save energy in your home like swapping out old lightbulbs for LEDs, weatherstripping around windows and doors, and installing smart thermostats. And more comprehensive improvements like air sealing, insulation and HVAC equipment replacement will improve the comfort of your living space and may even increase the value of your house.

And the benefits of energy efficiency upgrades extend beyond your walls: reducing your energy consumption has the added societal impact of reducing pollution, as well as relieving strain on the power grid. So many state governments and utility companies offer incentives and rebates to encourage you to air seal and insulate your home, and purchase energy efficient devices and appliances.

If you’re a New York homeowner, we’ve put together this brief directory of programs available from Sealed, each of the major New York utilities, as well as New York state, to make it easy to navigate the energy saving programs available for your home.
